Rose (Knockwood) Morris was raised in Shubenacadie. She is now a member of the Acadia Band and resides at Gold River Reserve. She is a very respected Elder of the Mi'kmaq Nation, and an excellent arts and crafts person, with a sunny disposition, which makes her company most enjoyable.
